Everything here was beautiful and my room was a nice size and well-appointed. The staff were decent and excellent without being intrusive. The breakfast was savoury and excellent, a lot of food. The service was all in all exceptional. The location was quiet and lovely, at a moderate distance from an Aughnanure castle. It was also right by next to the lake, Connemara and Galway and Galway and Connemara national park. I thoroughly enjoyed 1 night there🙂

We had a fantastic time at The Waterfront House Country Home. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning and created the perfect backdrop for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Mary, our host, was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and provided us with helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. The breakfast she served was delicious and had a great variety of options. The rooms were comfortable and tidy, and we enjoyed spending time in the dining room and on the terrace. The location was ideal for exploring Connemara, with easy access to the N59. The only minor issue we encountered was some noise from other guests, but it didn't significantly affect our overall experience. we highly recommend this lovely guesthouse for a memorable stay in a beautiful setting.

The narrow road leading up to the property could be a bit challenging to navigate if there is oncoming traffic.
